About Pakistan Youth Council

Empowering Youth. Shaping Pakistan.

The Pakistan Youth Council (PYC) is committed to the development, empowerment, and meaningful engagement of young people in Pakistan.

The Council seeks to create opportunities through which young people can develop leadership and professional competencies, acquire practical experience, engage in research and innovation, participate in civic and community affairs, and contribute to the social, economic, and national development of Pakistan.

PYC brings together individuals from diverse academic, professional, and social backgrounds and encourages collaboration, knowledge exchange, responsible participation, and youth-led initiatives.

Our Purpose

Pakistan Youth Council has been established with the purpose of contributing to the development of a skilled, informed, responsible, and engaged generation of young Pakistanis.

The Council seeks to connect young people with opportunities for learning, leadership, professional development, practical experience, research, networking, and participation.

Through its programmes, divisions, initiatives, and activities, PYC aims to provide young people with opportunities to develop their potential and contribute meaningfully to society.

A generation of capable, responsible, and engaged young Pakistanis contributing to national development.

The Pakistan Youth Council envisions a future in which young people are equipped with the knowledge, skills, confidence, leadership capacity, and opportunities necessary to participate meaningfully in the development of Pakistan.

Our Mission

To promote youth development and participation by providing opportunities for leadership, professional growth, practical learning, research, innovation, civic engagement, networking, and community contribution.

Our Objectives

The Pakistan Youth Council aims to:

01. Develop Leadership — Promote responsible, ethical, and effective leadership among young people.
02. Promote Professional Development — Facilitate opportunities for skills development, career preparation, practical learning, and professional growth.
03. Encourage Civic Participation — Promote awareness, responsibility, and meaningful participation in civic and community affairs.
04. Support Research and Innovation — Encourage research, critical thinking, innovation, entrepreneurship, and knowledge development.
05. Facilitate Practical Learning — Provide opportunities that connect academic learning with practical experience.
06. Promote Collaboration — Encourage cooperation among young people, educational institutions, professionals, organizations, and communities.
07. Support Community Engagement — Encourage volunteerism and youth participation in initiatives addressing social and developmental concerns.
08. Promote Interdisciplinary Development — Create opportunities for individuals from diverse academic and professional backgrounds to learn and work together.

Our Areas of Work

The activities of the Pakistan Youth Council are organized across six principal areas:

⚖️ Law & Justice — Promoting legal education, advocacy, research, constitutional understanding, legal awareness, and justice-related engagement.
🏛️ Governance & Public Policy — Encouraging understanding and participation in governance, public policy, legislation, civic affairs, and public institutions.
🌍 Diplomacy & International Affairs — Promoting knowledge and understanding of diplomacy, foreign policy, international relations, and global affairs.
